Building Condition Assessment (BCA)

A Building Condition Assessment (BCA) is a structured review of a building's major systems and components to establish current condition, identify deficiencies, prioritize repairs, and support renewal planning. In Canadian practice, BCA is commonly used interchangeably with Property Condition Assessment (PCA); at Brookstone a BCA is delivered using the same ASTM E2018-24 assessment methodology, with the depth, systems covered, and reporting outputs set by the scope agreed in writing before the engagement begins.
